Peter Jones was an Australian Rugby League Player, and now behind the scenes in the sport. He is most famous for playing for the North Queensland Cowboys from 1995–2002, where he is now Football Operations Manager. He is listed by the Cowboys as one of their players of the decade. Peter played his early football for Tully Tigers Junior Rugby League.[1]
In 2001 Jones was one of three players who testified against West Tigers player John Hopoate, who was found guilty of unsportsmanlike interference, in that Hopoate had inserted his finger into their anuses during the match.[2][3]
